It’s been almost a year since I published my book Happily Divorced – a Journey Through Divorce & Co-Parenting by the Golden Rule. And what a journey it has been. So I guess it is about time I launched a website devoted to the book and it’s topic.
Welcome to my HappilyDivorcedBook.com website and blog. Here I’ll share with you chapters from my book, interviews I’ve given, and insights on co-parenting that I stumble upon along the way. If you are a co-parent, a child of divorce, or a family member navigating a co-parenting, step-family, or blended family relationship, I’d love to hear your story too. Was your experience good or bad? What odd circumstances did you find yourself in and how did you come through it? What do you struggle with on these fronts?
I’m not a psychologist or professional counselor of any kind really… unless 20+ years as a co-parent and 10+ years in a blended family qualify me as such. But I can say that I think my ex and I really managed to figure this co-parenting thing out by reverting to a most basic principle. I’d be happy to give your scenario a shot. A lot of people just don’t realize how simple it can be to vastly improve their interactions with a co-parent or stepparent and spend years or even decades suffering needlessly. So what have you got to lose?
